We have had success on making the first ascent of Kang Nachugo - a climb that was crazy and difficult beyond our wildest dreams.  We made the ascent over 5 days, summitting on October 17.   More on this later.  We are both in great health, although our toes are a little numb. It was quite the process, basically a lot of waiting around.  We got to meet our liaison officer as well as our cook.  The "briefing" wasn't much more than signing a bunch of paperwork. The permit will take a few days to secure.Raj and I discussing permissions with the Ministry:We also visited the Sherpa Adventure Gear Nepal Headquarters.
